BIDS FOR BLACK AND TAN DAYS

Things that are critical for hosting Black and Tan Days are:
Supply Guide for approximately:
80 Cast -- Thursday Night
85 Cast -- Friday Night
60 Cast -- Saturday Night
Camping for approximately 120 campers with at least 50 percent of those having
electricity and water hook ups.
Clean restrooms and showers for both men and women.
Approximately 20 stalls for vendors inside (approximately 200 sq. ft.). Unlimited
room for vendors outside.
Approximately 140 dog stalls for the Black and Tan Barn.
Approximately 50 dog stalls for other breeds (separate barn)
Motel rooms in close vicinity to grounds.
24 hour kitchen beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday morning.
ITEMS THAT ARE NEGOTIABLE; HOWEVER, WE PREFER THE FOLLOWING FORMAT:
The Host Club quotes one price on supplying all of the following:
1. Fairgrounds with:
A. PA System
B. Place to host Officers Meeting on Thursday A.M.
C. Thirty (30) 3 x 8 foot tables
D. Fifty (50) chairs
E. Building under roof to host General Meeting Friday afternoon
F. Building under roof to host Bench show on Saturday morning
G. Area under roof to draw out Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night
H. Lockable building to set up Membership tables, UKC tables, Purina tables
2. Separate -- Black and Tan Barn from Other Breeds Barn
3. Vendors space
4. Men and Women restrooms and showers
5. Guide cost per cast
6. Fee for each dog entered
7. Camping facilities both primitive and electric and water hook ups
The Black and Tan Coonhound Association will get all proceeds from:
1. All dog stalls
2. All bench shows
3. All vendors
4. All camping
The Black and Tan Association will:
1. Supply personnel to take entries for the three hunts and all bench shows
2. Supply all Master’s of Hounds and Bench Show judges
3. Assign all vendors
4. Collect all money from vendors, camping, and dog stall
*All kitchen money goes to the local club or their assignee
*Any early bird camping money goes to Host Club; however, we will need to
know the cost per night and we will collect the money and pass it on the Host
Club.
WE WOULD PREFER NOT HAVING OUTLYING MOH’S OR PAYING RUNNERS TO VARIOUS
CLUBS.
We prefer having maps given to each hunter and having them find their way to
the outlying clubs if there is no local hunter willing to act as a caravan guide.
